Kentucky came out much more focused on the task at hand. Stopping the unreal 3 point shooting we have seen lately. They did that by not giving up a 3 pointer in the fist half and only 4 for the game. So today is the big test. Well according to Coach Cal. Rider comes in to Rupp with an 2-1 record with a big win at Mississippi State. Three of their starters are deadly from behind the arc which isn't good news for us. They are a combined 23 out of 37 for .62%. My father-in-law and I went to the game to night courtesy of one of my best friends. Sat in his seats in the upper arena with terrific view (see below). We saw a game that quite frankly we would have lost last year by 10-15. A game where the visiting team shot 15 of 26 from the three point line. The game started off loud only to get very quiet as Miami took off on a 16-0 run eventually getting an 18 point lead.
